SEPANG: Malaysia masih lagi menunggu kelulusan kuota tambahan 350 jemaah haji yang dimohon daripada Kerajaan Arab Saudi sebelum ini.
Beliau berkata, Malaysia mempunyai asas untuk memohon tambahan kuota itu susulan pertambahan populasi penduduk negara ini yang sudah mencecah 31.95 juta penduduk. “Jadi kita ada asas untuk dimaklumkan kepada Arab Saudi,” katanya kepada pemberita selepas melancarkan Karnival Pengelola Jemaah Haji 1444H/2023 di sini, hari ini.
Mohd. Na’im berkata, kerajaan berharap kerajaan Arab Saudi akan memberi pertimbangan sekali gus memberi peluang kepada lebih ramai jemaah.
