ALOR SETAR, April 12 ― Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor has been urged to learn from his counterparts in Perlis and Kelantan, who are more prudent in maintaining a good rapport with the federal government.
“For me, he should learn from people who are more experienced than him. In fact, I think newcomer Perlis MB , who keeps a low profile but is somehow wiser in seeking the federal government’s attention by using a gentle approach. According to Mahfuz, any tension between the Kedah government and the federal government could also cause worries among the existing or future investors in the state.
In this regard, Mahfuz urged the MB to heed the recent decree of the Sultan of Kedah Al-Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah on the importance of having a harmonious relationship with the federal government.
