A Polish woman has gone viral on social media after claiming she could be the missing British toddler Madeleine McCann.

Wendel’s inquiry began when a comment was made by her grandmother, leading her to look into her childhood which she said is rarely spoken of. She claims to have no recollection of her youth except for being on holiday “in a hot place where there was a beach.”Article content She claims her family had allegedly “shunned” her for speculating to be McCann and declined to take any DNA test or supply her birth certificate.
McCann’s most distinguishable feature was the abnormality in her right eye, which showed a visible dark spot on her iris, a characteristic Wendel also claims to have.
