Inspector-General of Police Razarudin Husain said the police will work closely with MACC to bring home Muhyiddin Yassin’s son-in-law and another individual.
Inspector-General of Police Razarudin Husain said MACC made a verbal request for the Red Notice, and that the police will work closely with the anti-corruption agency to bring home the wanted individuals. Previously, MACC chief commissioner Azam Baki said the agency may seek Interpol’s assistance to track down Adlan Berhan, 48, and lawyer Mansoor Saat, 69.
Adlan had denied being on the run from the law and said he will return to Malaysia to assist MACC so long as the “elements of threats and persecution are eliminated”.
