Many of us have experienced food poisoning at least once or twice in our lives. But, imagine having food poisoning that is so severe, you end up with a hospital bill of RM5,000.

According to a report by China Press, the woman, known as Chen, had gone to dine at the eatery by herself at 6pm on August 14 . Around 4 hours later, she started feeling sick, and was experiencing vomiting and diarrhea.Soon after, she also developed a high fever, which led her to seek medical attention at a hospital. There, they confirmed that she was, in fact, experiencing food poisoning, and was admitted and placed under drips for 3 days and 2 nights.
