Instead, the festival will take over the Eltuek Arts Centre on Saturday from 7 p.m. - 12 a.m. and it brings together artists from Nova Scotia and beyond for this free event.An interdisciplinary artist who is a professor emeritus at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Robert Bean did his first solo show in 1979 at St. Mary's University Art Gallery in Halifax.

I think just on the basic level, there's this sense of Western art history; the Sistine Chapel weighs in very high, as does the name Michelangelo…I think to think about it as a place where you might go and listen as opposed to just, you know, sort of view.
