The LPA will bring cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rain and thunderstorms to the Bicol Region, the Eastern Visayas, the Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte and Surigao del Sur.
Metro Manila, Calabarzon , Mimaropa and the rest of the Visayas and Mindanao will also experience cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms brought LPA. Meanwhile, the rest of Luzon will experience fair weather with partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain and thunderstorms. Pagasa also raised a gale warning due to the effects of the northeast monsoon or “amihan” in the seaboards of Batanes, Cagayan , and the northern coast of Ilocos Norte and Isabela. Waves in these areas are expected to reach heights of 2.8 to 4 meters.
