My dearest Rideau Canal Skateway,
You’re more than just a skateway to me, though. You’re a symbol of the city that I love, a place that holds so many memories and so much beauty. When I skate along your path, I feel like I’m a part of something bigger, something that connects me to the people and the history of this place.Article content
Decades ago, a child skated on the canal with his family, all excited to get a Beaver Tail and a hot chocolate, skating as far as he could, amazed and full of joy.
