Senior citizens in Marikina City were treated to a night of love and music as the local government organized a special free Valentine’s Day concert titled “Senior Moments,” on Tuesday, Feb. 14.
The program, led and co-hosted by District 1 Congresswoman Marjorie Ann “Maan” Teodoro, spread love and cheer to the city’s elderly population.
Marikina City Mayor Marcelino “Marcy” Teodoro also attended the concert and extended his heartfelt appreciation to the elderly community.Crowds of seniors, along with their family members, gathered at the Marikina Sports Center for the event held at 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. For the finale, the group and the audience sang Rey Valera’s classic song “Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko.”The night was capped by a fireworks display at the Sports Center.
