A lorry was blown over in a horror moment on the M62
A driver has shared this dashcam footage of the terrifying moment a lorry was blown over on the M62 in strong winds on Tuesday night .
A spokesperson for National Highways said the vehicle was blown over in 40mph gusts of wind, however only one 'minor injury' was reported, says M.E.N. National Highways North West announced that two lanes were closed on the westbound carriageway between J22 and J21 after the collision with traffic officers called out to the scene, they announced the update on Twitter.
In an update posted at around 12am this morning, they said: "UPDATE: All lanes have reopened on the #M62 westbound between J22 and J21 following the earlier collision involving an overturned HGV. Residual delays have cleared and traffic is flowing freely. Thanks for your patience this evening."
