A man pretending to be a firefighter was arrested in Malibu while looting a home amidst widespread wildfires. He is one of over two dozen individuals apprehended for crimes related to the blazes that have ravaged the Los Angeles area.

Los Angeles, United States – A looter disguised himself as a firefighter to raid a home around fire-wrecked Malibu, police said Sunday.

“I saw a gentleman that looked like a firefighter, and I asked him if he was okay, because he was sitting down,” Luna told a press conference. A nighttime curfew is in place across the disaster zones around Pacific Palisades and Altadena, where two fires have laid waste to whole communities.
