Sanchez explained that she is helping remotely for now since she cannot be “on-ground” to distribute the items during these unprecedented times.
“I’ve not forgotten. I promised, I will deliver,” Sanchez said. “Kahit konti lang, may matutulungan parin kahit paano.” She then recalled the situation of the residents of Tondo, citing how many have gotten sick, lost their jobs and have nothing to eat amid the spread of the coronavirus. In addition,ADVERTISEMENTShe then thanked her friends who sponsored the donations while emphasizing that “[s]ervice to others is the #BestLife.”” campaign, which aims to help restore the dignity of impoverished kids by providing them with slippers.
