Justine's 'Sari' ensemble draws inspiration from the legends of Mount Apo. ⛰️

MANILA, Philippines – Justine Felizarta looked regal in her national costume for the Miss Tourism World 2022 pageant.

Designed by Neil Patrick Jimlani, the ensemble is called “Sari,” and drew inspiration from the legend of Mount Apo. “The costume is enthused by the scenic landscape of the mountain and colorful culture of the Moro and Indigenous people of the Philippines,” the Miss World Philippines organization captioned their post of Justine’s look.

They added that the color green symbolizes growth and renewal, a depiction of the growth of the empowered women of today’s generation, while the “bulawan” or the gold accents represent women as the gems of the tribe.“Bringing the world to Vietnam…. Grateful for this experience and all that there is to come,” she said in an Instagram post.
