Searchmont Ski Runners have 9 skiers in Northern Ontario Division at races March 18-22
Local ski club Searchmont Ski Runners will have nine athletes representing the Northern Ontario Division at the U16 OCUP Finals being held March 18-22 at Searchmont Ski Resort.
The event is the culmination of countless hours of training and competition for these incredibly talented and hardworking young athletes. Katie, who has been racing with SSR since she was 5, has stayed with the sport, putting in years of commitment. She says the fact that she has been “skiing since I was little, it kind of keeps me motivated to finish my years out”.
Searchmont Ski Resort will host the event, drawing 160 athletes from all four Alpine Ontario divisions to compete in the Slalom, Super G, and Giant Slalom events.
