Connie Carson is the recipient of the the 2022 YMCA of Central East Ontario Peace Medal. She received the award at a ceremony on Tuesday, December 6. The Peace Medal celebrates an individual in the community who has made significant contributions toward peace building. She currently serves on The Belleville Heritage Committee and has written two books about seven decades spent in the City of Belleville and heads a Facebook page dedicated to “Sharing Belleville Memories.”
