Lismore Mayor Steve Krieg says it’s not ideal for people still to be “living in their cars” 10 months on from when the town was hit by devastating floods.

“We’ve had over 200 privately owned sites presented to the Northern Rivers Reconstruction Cooperation for potential development.

“Many of those were presented to Resilience six or eight months ago and not one, to the best of my knowledge, has been examined.”
