The difference between Parliament Hill and Queen’s Park when it comes to election interference allegations is night and day.
So far, Ford hasn’t backed a public inquiry into election interference saying that is a matter for the federal government to decide. That’s true, somewhat, but there are also concerns about whether China has interfered in provincial or municipal elections.
While Ford hasn’t been asked questions about Ke and election interference by the official opposition, he has been asked by the media. Ford has said that he expects Ke to clear his name and if that happens he will be allowed back into the PC caucus.Article content
