Immigration minister seems to have forgotten he has a big file, spending his days attacking Conservative leader.
Marc Miller seems to be having a hard time settling into his new job as Canada’s Minister of Immigration. It seems like he thinks Prime Minister Justin Trudeau asked him to replace guttersnipe Mark Gerretsen as the chief Liberal troll on Twitter.Miller, formerly the Minister of Crown Indigenous Relations, has long been seen as one of the serious people in the Trudeau cabinet, someone who values public service over partisan hot takes.
That saw Miller take cheap political shots on what is supposed to be a national holiday about truth and reconciliation. We are all learning some difficult truths, particularly today, and mistakes can happens. Even the Ministers, are they too childish not to be in the same gathering as the Conservatives?
