The call from the opposition was clear, establish a public inquiry headed up by someone we all agree to and get to the bottom of election interference allegations of all kinds. It wasn’t a perfect solution, but the Conservatives, Bloc Quebecois and New Democrats all put some water in their wine to agree to a framework that importantly called for all parties to have a say in who would head up the inquiry..
