Liberty Technology Resources diarah bayar RM14.39 juta kepada SSM
LIBERTY Technology Resources Sdn Bhd diarahkan untuk membayar RM14.39 juta kepada Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia selepas tuntutan samannya ke atas suruhanjaya itu ditolak oleh Mahkamah Tinggi Kuala Lumpur.
Dalam kenyataan hari ini SSM menjelaskan saman tersebut difailkan oleh LTRSB berikutan pihaknya menamatkan kontrak pembangunan sistem ‘Enterprise Resource Planning’ pada 19 Disember 2019 kerana kegagalan LTRSB membangun dan menyiapkan projek tersebut dalam tempoh yang ditetapkan walaupun lanjutan masa diberikan.Menurut kenyataan itu Hakim Ong Chee Kwan turut membenarkan tuntutan balas SSM dengan LTRSB diarah untuk memulangkan semula RM12,228,365.
Hakim juga mengarahkan LTRSB untuk membayar faedah sebanyak lima peratus ke atas jumlah tuntutan SSM yang dikira dari 26 November 2020 sehingga pembayaran penuh tuntutan SSM serta kos sebanyak RM200,000 kepada SSM. – Bernama, 25 Jun, 2023.
