The Metropolitan Police said officers were called to Catford Broadway at about 04:30 GMT on Sunday along with paramedics from London Ambulance Service . In a statement, the Met said it is "in the process" of informing the man's next of kind of his death. Catford Broadway runs behind Lewisham Town Hall and the Broadway Theatre, and is home to a number of shops.
