Maybe the Prince George allegations will now get serious scrutiny. But there is nothing to stop other cases from getting the same brush-off that stalled these concerns for about 20 years.A public transit system should provide safe, comfortable, reliable, efficient and ideally frequent transportation services for users that takes them between their trip origins and destinations as and when they wish to travel.
At present in the Lower Mainland , there are incentives to purchase electric vehicles , , and to use them on all routes . Such incentives serve to encourage increases in private vehicle ownership and use, which thereby puts more pressure on governments to expand the road network , while further exacerbating congestion in Vancouver and other city centres, and discouraging the use of public transit as a viable alternative for many trips.
