Letters to the Sun: By far the most powerful piece I’ve ever read.

Thank you, Doug Todd. By far the most powerful piece I’ve ever read on the utter insanity of how the “system” has been failing some of our society’s most vulnerable people for decades and how the situation is clearly getting worse. I was gripped by a cold fury as I read on.

A human body does not require processing after death. The most natural, time honoured, and authentically environmental way to allow a body to return to the earth while doing no harm is through green burial. Green burial involves respectfully placing the deceased into a green burial grave, where it is covered with native soil from the site. Organics, such as leaves or compost, are often added to facilitate the body’s gradual, natural return, directly back into the earth.

Terramation, along with Natural Organic Reduction, Aquamation and other death tech industries promote their “green-ness” relative only to conventional casket burial and cremation.
