Re “Governor General flies high on our dollars” : I am appalled by the dollars spent, read wasted, by our Governor General. The hypocrisy preaching about environmental issues and flying around the world to do it! It seems like those providing the expensive food for these junkets know how easily our government reps can be conned. I feel the Liberal voters/thinkers don’t quite understand the value of money and how this waste will affect the future generations. Perhaps a wake-up call is in order.
The reality of the expense would be in “real time,” and we would be sparing the next generation the tab. P.S. Perhaps every vote-getting feel good initiative should also be billed in the same fashion — i.e. $10 day care, free dental care.
