Letters to the Editor, July 25, 2023
The government tells us the carbon tax will be used to pay for green energy and products that are supposed to lower emissions and pollutants and somehow change the climate. I have asked this question in the past and will ask again: How does this tax and all this green technology stop pollutants and emissions from other countries crossing our border? Is it going to magically stop when it gets to our borders and get checked for the amount of pollutants by special custom officials? Get real, folks.
