Re “Freeland’s ‘fiscally prudent approach’ drenched in red ink” : I can’t wait for Finance Minister Freeland and the Liberals to release their “fiscally prudent budget.” I’m really hoping that they channel their inner Paul Martin and deliver a balanced budget reminiscent of the 1990s. But alas, it is 2023 and in an era when budgets balance themselves. We are about to see an unprecedented deficit to add to our already massive federal debt.
