Can the city guarantee the streets will be all open and clean and all wires are attached to avoid accidents? Will all trees be cut down and carted away? Has anyone at city council spoken to the port authority? I realize that postponing a cruise ship arrival means a big loss of revenue for the port. On the other hand, showing the city at its worst is not going to help Charlottetown and the tourism industry. Looks like a lack of co-ordination and communication yet again.Laurent Beaulieu,Lessons learned from Fiona and other extreme weather events are many. Should we not have trimmed more trees from power lines years ago? The tragedy in Newfoundland might have been much less if houses were not built so close to the ocean.
