Mayor Joyti Gondek tells the world with a straight face, that transit safety is improving, when she and a coterie of officials and police travel several blocks at 11:15 in the morning? If she wanted to imitate the reality everyone else faces, she would have stood on a LRT platform with those in society who need the most help, with security nowhere in sight, waiting for an 11 p.m. transit ride, alone. Now that’s a transit safety moment which would easily be sponsored by Depends.
