LOSING STRATEGY
Reply to Darwin Bruce’s ‘ACTION AND CONSEQUENCES’. Most of your letter is surrounding parents’ response. As someone who worked in the government and dealt with parents and government agencies. Parents are scared to discipline a child. They fear child services, an agency with no oversight and overwhelming power to destroy families. They fear the child posting a TikTok or a YouTube about their ‘abuse’. They fear a media who hears about a disciplined child and they are trolled, threatened.
Dictators don’t care about rules, like Bashar al-Assad of Syria being responsible for over half-a-million civilian deaths, North Korea’s Kim Jong-un, even with nine UN resolutions, continues building ICBM missiles, while Vlad Putin’s devastating Ukraine war is without UN resolution due to Russia’s veto power. World leaders still haven’t learned that dictators care only about their power and wealth, the rest of the world be damned.
