The Lenovo ThinkStation P8 workstation packs the latest AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7000 WX-series processors with up to 96 Zen 4 cores running at up to 5.1GHz.
If you’re a small business or a professional looking to get a new workstation to either level up your productivity or maybe to jump on the artificial intelligence hype train, thenlatest product may be just the thing for you. It’s the new ThinkStation P8, a powerful workstation that uses the AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7000 WX-series high end desktop processors.
Being powered by the Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7000 WX-series that debuted late last year means that you’ll be able to kit out the ThinkStation P8 with up to a Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7995WX, a Zen 4-based 96-core, 192-thread beast with clock speeds of up to 5.1GHz. Even if you don’t need that much performance, going down the product stack of the Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7000 WX-series, you’ll find a number of high end desktop processors to match with whatever your workstation needs may be.
As for what else to put into the ThinkStation P8, the brand new chassis with red accents lets you fit up to three NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada graphics cards for graphics-intensive applications like ray tracing applications, video rendering, simulation runs or computer aided design; AMD Radeon Pro options are also available. There’s also support for Windows 11 and alternative Linux operating systems, ISV certifications, up to seven M.
You can already get the ThinkStation P8 from the Lenovo Malaysia website. Of course, considering the hardware at hand, it won’t be cheap. Starting at, that gets you the ThinkStation P8 with an AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7945WX and 16GB of RAM, with no GPU or storage included along. Depending on your needs, you can customise your ThinkStation P8, but it won’t be cheap the more powerful it gets; if you want the top-of-the-line Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7995WX, that’s gonna cost you an extra RM71,140.
