PETALING JAYA: Pemain perseorangan lelaki negara, Lee Zii Jia memastikan penyertaan kali kedua dirinya di pentas Olimpik, tidak pulang dengan tangan kosong apabila memenangi pingat gangsa pada temasya empat tahun sekali itu di Paris.

Keputusan itu juga menyaksikan Zii Jia memperbaiki pencapaiannya pada temasya 2020 di Tokyo apabila dia terkandas di peringkat 16 terbaik. Untuk rekod, kali terakhir Malaysia mempunyai wakil dalam final acara perseorangan lelaki adalah pada edisi 2016 menerusi Datuk Lee Chong Wei.
