KUALA LUMPUR: Education minister Fadhlina Sidek has urged politicians across the political divide not to “disturb” schools and teachers that are taking part in the Palestine Solidarity Week. An emotional Fadhlina told the Dewan Rakyat that humanity was the main reason why the education ministry organised this initiative, adding that it was never about “who is more pro- Palestine”.
“The purpose of this programme is to educate students about the value of humanity, peace education, and peace . Give the education ministry the space to carry out our responsibility.“ on this side or that side (the opposition bloc. Don’t disturb,” she said in her winding-up speech for the 2024 supply bill.
