With recent survey results showing 41% of Filipinos agreeing with the impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte and 61% supporting the Quad Committee
hearings, one thing is crystal clear: the so-called Duterte myth has been shattered, according to Tingog party-list Rep. Jude Acidre.
“The numbers don’t lie. People are demanding accountability and transparency, and they’re looking for leaders who will serve with integrity, compassion, and a clear vision for the future — not leaders who thrive on impunity and entitlement,” he said.

41% of Filipinos Support Impeachment of Vice President Sara DuterteA Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey showed that 41% of Filipinos support the impeachment or removal from office of Vice President Sara Duterte. The survey, conducted between December 12 and December 18, 2024, also revealed that 35% of Filipinos are against the impeachment, while 19% are undecided. The highest percentage of those in favor of Duterte's impeachment was recorded in Balance Luzon (50%), followed by the National Capital Region (45%).
