MIRI, April 25 ― Lawas cancer patient Lina Samuel, who made headlines after she was stripped of her MyKad, died this morning.that Lina passed away in Lawas Hospital at around 7am.

Agnes said she contacted Lawas Hospital director Dr Ahmad Helmi Hamdan two weeks ago about Lina’s health condition and was told that Lina had Stage 4 colon cancer. She had attempted to change the address on her MyKad at JPN Lawas in order to vote when staff seized the document.
