FILE PHOTOCANNING, N.S. — The outcome of an appeal launched over a council decision to approve a controversial residential development agreement for Canning should be known by late March.

A group of concerned area residents filed an appeal with the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board on Aug. 16. This was the final day of a 14-day appeal period that began when the County of Kings officially advertised the July 26 council decision.
