Beauty companies continue to come up with new offerings in the quest for the ultimate set of doe eyes

In the quest for the ultimate set of doe eyes, beauty companies continue to come up with new offerings, starting with the simple mascara wand. Canadian beauty brand Marcelle recently launched their Ultimate Flex Mascara, which uses an adjustable brush that can be shaped into three different positions for a variety of results, while Chanel introduced the first 3-D printed wand last year.

Finally, there are lash extensions, an in-salon treatment where individual synthetic lashes made of polyester fibre are attached to your natural lashes with an adhesive. According to Veronica Tran, who founded Toronto lash and brow bar Pretty in the City in 2005, the application process takes about 90 minutes and extensions should be refilled every three to four weeks.

Ardell Magnetic Lashes Double Wispies, $19.99 at Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart and independent retailers.
