CEBU CITY, Philippines— With the city is now under General Community Quarantine (GCQ), 90 percent of the business in Lapu-Lapu City are now operational, which means more workers will be traveling

With this, Lapu-Lapu City Legal City Legal Officer Lawyer James Sayson clarified that workers who will be using their private vehicles to work will be exempted from the number coding implemented in the city.

Executive Order No. 48-G of the city of Lapu-Lapu was posted on Sunday evening, May 17, by city Mayor Junard “Ahong” Chan for the public to be guided accordingly. The number coding scheme allows cars with license plates ending in odd numbers to travel on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and from 5:01 am to 11:59 a.m on Sundays. Those with plates ending in odd numbers can travel on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturday, and from 12:00 noon to 9:59 p.m. on Sundays.
