WASHINGTON - Arestado ang isang lalaki sa Texas matapos bumili ng isang luxury sports car na nagkakahalagang $200,000 gamit ang government aid.
Kinasuhan ng fraud si Lee Price III, 29 anyos, matapos makakuha ng dalawang government loan na nagkakahalagang $1.6 milyon sa ilalim ng Paycheck Protection Program, ayon sa Justice Department.
Bumili ng sports car, mamahaling relo, bahay, isang F-350 pickup truck ang lalaki. Ginastos din umano niya ang pera sa isang Houston strip club, ayon sa pahayag. Ayon sa reklamong inihain laban kay Price, nakuha nito ang $900,000 para sa Price Enterprise Holdings, at $700,000 naman ang nakuha niya para sa 713 Construction. Pero nabatid na walang ni-isang empleyado ang parehong kompanya at ang nakalistang chief executive officer pala ng 713 Construction ay namatay na noong Abril 2020.
