Sky News Contributor Joe Hildebrand says the Labor Party has not broken an election promise regarding the $275 cheaper energy bills because “it is not 2025 yet”.
“I don’t think they should’ve committed to a specific figure, but they always said this would be in 2025,” Mr Hildebrand told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“You simply cannot accuse them of breaking an election promise, and indeed, Anthony Albanese on this very network today said that he still expected that figure to be reached.”

‘Dissenting opinion’: Democrats retract letter calling for direct negotiations with RussiaSky News contributor Kosha Gada says 30 Democrats retracting a letter calling for a change in the US’ strategy towards the Russia-Ukraine conflict seems to show an “intolerance for dissenting opinion”.
