The La Trinidad Indigenous Peoples Organization (LTIPO) signs a Memorandum of Agreement with Hedcor Group, signifying their continued support for the Bineng 3 Hydroelectric Power Plant. This agreement ensures the plant's continued operation for another 25 years, with benefits for both the community and the environment.

The La Trinidad Indigenous Peoples Organization (LTIPO) signed a Free and Prior Informed Consent-Memorandum of Agreement (FPIC MOA) with the Hedcor Group, expressing continued support for Hedcor Group’s 4.5-megawatt Bineng 3 Hydroelectric Power Plant . This agreement recognizes Hedcor's contribution to sustainable development within ancestral domains. Hedcor, AboitizPower’s renewable energy asset manager, has operated the plant for over 25 years.

With the IP communities’ consent, Hedcor will continue to manage Bineng 3 for another 25 years. The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) facilitated the process, ensuring the IP communities' voices were heard. The NCIP will also guide the IP communities in formulating Community Royalty Development Plans and monitor Hedcor's commitments, ensuring the growth and sustainability of ancestral domains. Marcelo Abela, La Trinidad’s first Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR), emphasized the partnership's potential for mutual environmental, economic, and cultural sustainability. He believes this inclusive approach will create lasting impacts for the community
