During a speech in Poland President Joe Biden said Vladimir Putin was wrong about the strength of Ukraine, as details about his highly secretive trip to the war torn nation emerge.
The leader of the free world embarked on a highly secretive journey to the war-torn capital, which took months of planning.
"When President Putin ordered his tanks to roll into Ukraine, he thought we would roll over. He was wrong.A dictator bent on rebuilding an empire will never be able to erase the peopleâs love for liberty.Ukraine will never be a victory for Russia. Never.Departing from a Washington in the early hours of Sunday morning Mr Biden was joined by just two members of the press, a small number of his security detail and some advisers.
Once arriving at Poland’s Przemysl Glowny station, Mr Biden and his entourage boarded a train which took 10 hours to reach Kyiv.
