KWAP, the Malaysian Retirement Fund, achieved a record-breaking net income of RM12.9 billion in 2024, marking a 12% overall return. The fund size also grew by RM15.8 billion to RM185.6 billion, reflecting a 9.3% increase in unaudited financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2024, compared to RM169.8 billion in 2023. Domestic investments generated a 12.9% return, while the international portfolio recorded a 9.0% return. Equity investments, particularly public equity, drove these results with a 21.9% overall return. Domestic equities achieved 23.2% and international equities reached 16.9%.

PETALING JAYA: Kumpulan Wang Persaraan mencatatkan pendapatan bersih tertinggi dalam sejarahnya iaitu RM12.9 bilion pada 2024, dengan pulangan keseluruhan sebanyak 12 peratus.

Hasil ini didorong oleh ekuiti awam yang memberikan pulangan keseluruhan sebanyak 21.9 peratus, dengan ekuiti domestik mencatat 23.2 peratus dan ekuiti antarabangsa mencapai 16.9 peratus. Sehingga 31 Disember 2024, portfolio dana diperuntukkan sebanyak 51.7 peratus dalam ekuiti, pendapatan tetap , ekuiti persendirian , hartanah dan infrastruktur dengan baki dalam pengurusan tunai bagi tujuan kecairan.
