“We do not care who becomes the representative as long as they can do their job properly but how are they supposed to do their job if they do not have the money?He then went on to say he had been applying for electricity supply since 2018 especially at Kampung Bukit Jantung, an Orang Asli village located about three kilometres from where he lives.
Shamsudin said that it does not matter who will become the representative since the status quo remains unchanged regardless. “Sure, there are some houses, but real development requires KKB to be the main hub, the heart of Hulu Selangor,” he said.“Not everything is readily available here. Even in the surrounding villages, residents often have to travel considerable distances of 30 to 40 kilometres to reach the nearest hospital.
