: Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan menamakan satu spesies orkid hibrid baharu sebagai ‘Aranda Ibrahim Iskandar’ bersempena dengan nama Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim.
Orkid hibrid berkenaan, dipersembahkan kepada Seri Paduka Baginda pada Majlis Perasmian Hari Landskap Negara 2024 di Taman Tasik Shah Alam, di sini. Menteri KPKT Nga Kor Ming dalam ucapan sembah alu-aluan pada majlis itu berkata orkid hibrid berkenaan telah didaftarkan dengan Penguat Kuasa Pendaftaran Antarabangsa Hibrid Orkid di England.
Beliau berkata bunga itu yang berwarna oren kemerahan membawa maksud bersemangat, berani, tegas, dalam membuat keputusan, optimis dan berkepimpinan sekali gus menggambarkan keperibadian dan karakter Sultan Ibrahim dalam menaungi pemerintahan negara. HLN 2024 bertemakan ‘Industri Landskap Pemacu Pembangunan MADANI’ yang berlangsung selama 10 hari bermula semalam hingga 2 Jun di sini, akan menjadi platform kepada penggiat industri landskap untuk mempromosi dan memasarkan produk mereka.
