Konferensi Serantau Caritas bina jalan baharu persaudaraan

Wakil Caritas Malaysia, dari kiri Fr Wilfred James, Eta Ting dan Fr Martinian Lee bersama Dr Pier Francesco Pinelli.Konferensi Serantau Caritas Asia 2023 telah diadakan di Bangkok, Thailand pada Mac 7-8 lalu dengan tema “Membina Jalan Baharu Persaudaraan.”

Mesyuarat tahunan yang melibatkan 25 Pertubuhan Ahli Caritas di Asia merupakan perhimpunan penting bagi para ahli untuk membincangkan perkara-perkara nasional dan serantau mereka. Dr Pier Francesco Pinelli, Pentadbir Sementara Caritas Internationalis, memberi maklumat terkini dari Caritas Internationalis dan mengumumkan dua orang ahli Caritas yang dilantik oleh Bapa Suci Fransiskus.

Kemudian, Fr Tony Labiao, Wakil SEA untuk Komisi Serantau menyampaikan laporan terkini dari 10 Caritas dari Kambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Filipina, Singapura, CHARIS Singapura, Thailand, Timor Leste dan Vietnam.
