An entertainment club located off Jalan Tun Razak is being investigated by the KL City Hall for not having an entertainment licence, following the uproar over their event featuring the ‘Thai Hot Guy’ – a group of buffy male waiters popular in a restaurant in Bangkok – as their main attraction this 30 March.
As a result of a preliminary investigation by DBKL, it was found that the premises is operating under a restaurant license for Beijing 9 Sdn Bhd.Azman Abidin, Political Secretary to the Prime Minister The premises also does not have an entertainment licence and there is no application for an entertainment licence or application to carry out entertainment activities.
Furthermore, PAS was also upset when the name of the late Prime Minister Tun Abdul Razak was allowed to be used as the name of a bar. That act is neither sensitive nor responsible and even insults the good name of the country’s leader.
