Judge Ronda Van Der Hoek handed Frank a 45-day conditional sentence order on the three charges. Frank will serve house arrest for the first 30 days, to be followed by daily curfew from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. for the remaining time. The conditional sentence will be followed by 12 months of probation. Katie Dianne Thibodeau, 20, of Dartmouth, has been sentenced to time deemed served and probation after pleading guilty to several offences.
Thibodeau committed the offences in Kentville on Oct. 27, 2022; June 3, 2023, and June 20, 2023. Charges of willfully resisting a member of the Kentville Police Service engaged in the execution of her duty; committing mischief by willfully destroying or damaging property to a value not exceeding $5,000; and another count of failing to comply with a condition of a release order were withdrawn on Sept. 7.
