Kota Kinabalu: Kimanis folks will be consulted before the proposed Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) relocation, assured Qhazanah Sabah Berhad Chairman Datuk Dr Yusof Yacob.

He said a dialogue on the environmental impact assessment would also be carried out along with local engagement.Yusof was responding to Bongawan’s Warisan Assemblyman Dr Daud’s recent statement advising him not to jump the gun on the project. “As the Bongawan Assemblyman, the relocation must be supported as it will bring much benefit for locals. It should be quickly implemented to bring on development and job opportunities.
