Kia has issued an urgent recall on the Sorento large SUV from 2020 to 2022, affecting more than 8,000 cars.

Kia said a crack may develop in the component’s circuit board, leading to the pump failing and the vehicle losing power and risking a crash.

Customers are being told to bring their Sorentos to a Kia dealer immediately to have the issue rectified.
