: The Kembara Kenali Borneo tour inspired by Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah provided an opportunity for His Majesty to build a “bridge of friendship” between the regions of Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak.
“I, representing the Malay Rulers, am extending my arms to all as one Malaysian family in our beloved country,“ said His Majesty at the closing ceremony of the tour and a dinner hosted by the Sarawak government here. According to His Majesty, during the tour, he received many complaints and letters of application from residents for basic necessities such as water supply, electricity and good roads.
His Majesty expressed confidence that with the composition of the people’s elected representatives from Sabah and Sarawak in the federal government, the needs of both regions can be met.
